Y Pipes for Intercoolers & Exhaust Systems
A Y pipe joins two pipes into one. On twin turbo cars with two intercoolers, a charge air Y pipe merges the boost from both sides before the throttle body, and the factory part is often narrow or restrictive. In an exhaust, a Y pipe merges or splits the flow from each bank of a V engine.
Most of our Y pipes are do88 intercooler Y pipe kits for the Porsche 911 Turbo, covering the 996, 997.1 and 997.2 including the GT2, 991.1 and 991.2, with versions for factory intercoolers and for do88 ICM-200, ICM-230 and ICM-410 intercoolers, finished in black. For exhaust, we stock the MagnaFlow loop delete Y pipe for the Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L, the Borla high clearance stainless Y pipe for the Toyota Tacoma 3.5L, and a Kooks muffler delete pipe for the Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI.
