The Rock Basher is aFe's off road oriented cat-back for the 2.7L Colorado and Canyon, built from 3 in mandrel bent 409 stainless steel tubing and ending in a turn down exit rather than a tip, so there is nothing hanging below the bumper to catch on rocks or a trailer. A high flow 409 stainless muffler sets the tone, deep and aggressive at moderate volume rather than raspy. The system uses a heavy duty flex pipe with an internal interlock liner to absorb driveline movement, and it bolts to the factory flange and hangers with no cutting or modification. Every joint is 100% MIG welded, and the whole system is laid out in CAD against scan data so it drops in without fighting the underbody.
