The AMS Performance carbon fiber intake cuts pressure drop by 25% compared to stock, feeding the turbocharger a higher volume of cool air through 90mm intake piping that is 26.5% larger than the factory 65mm tube. A completely sealed carbon fiber airbox keeps hot engine bay air out, and the washable synthetic dry media filter needs no oiling. The box and tube are hand-laid, motorsport-grade carbon fiber in a matte finish on billet aluminum brackets, and the kit installs with basic hand tools and no cutting. Cars with the factory strut tower bracing need additional spacers.
