AWE Tuning Exhaust Conversion Kit VW GTI MK8 2022-2026 - Track-to-Touring

This kit converts an AWE Track Edition cat-back that is already fitted to your MK8 Volkswagen GTI into an AWE Touring Edition. That is the direction: Track in, Touring out. If you are running the Touring Edition now and want the louder Track setup, you need the opposite part, AWE 3810-11484, the Touring-to-Track kit. Ordering the wrong direction is the single most common mistake with these two part numbers, so check which AWE system is on the car before you buy.

AWE builds its cat-backs in two voices. The Track Edition is the aggressive one, running straight pipes through the mid-section. The Touring Edition is the sophisticated, drone-free one, carrying AWE's patented 180 Technology, a resonator design AWE says cancels the problematic frequencies that cause cabin drone. This kit is the one to buy if the Track Edition's mid-range volume has worn thin on your commute: it adds the 180 Technology resonators without, as AWE puts it, killing off the pops and burbles.

Understand what is in the box. This is not a complete exhaust system, and it will not work on a factory exhaust or on another brand's system. It is the replacement mid-section only: the 180 Technology resonated section that takes the place of the straight pipes in your existing AWE Track Edition cat-back. Everything else on the car, including your tips, stays where it is. The kit is handcrafted from CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel, in a clean, non-baffled, straight-through design, and bolts on directly.
