do88's BeastFlow closed intake replaces the OE airbox on the 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder with a sealed, vacuum-infused prepreg carbon fiber housing (2x2 twill) fed by a large front scoop. A 152mm (6 in) BMC filter sits in the 203mm (8 in) housing on a 152mm (6 in) pipe that never narrows below 114mm (4.5 in) on its way to the turbo. do88 rates the system to roughly 1000 hp, measured 12 percent more airflow with the inlet pipe alone and up to 84 percent with its 114mm (4.5 in) turbo inlet hose, and recorded up to +25 hp and +25 Nm on a Stage 1 RS3 8V. This version ships with do88's 114mm (4.5 in) turbo inlet hose and a CNC-machined 56.3mm adapter sized for the OE turbocharger.
