The factory intake tract on these six cylinder BMWs carries a large resonator between the filter housing and the throttle body to damp induction noise, and it restricts airflow doing it. This kit replaces that assembly with two silicone hoses that run straight from the airbox to the throttle body, opening the path up and letting the six cylinder intake note through. Both hoses are moulded in high quality silicone with three to five reinforcement layers and an integrated steel wire spiral, and the kit suits both the single stage and the three stage intake manifold.
