do88 Silicone Air Filter Relocation Hose - SAAB 9-3 1999-2003 - Black

This silicone hose replaces the factory airbox on the first-generation SAAB 9-3, connecting to the air mass meter and routing through the opening behind the rear headlight into the cavity behind the bumper and right fog light, where an open cone filter is mounted. do88 developed it with Nordic Tuning to draw cold air from outside the engine bay. The filter end has an 80mm inner diameter and the available space accepts a filter up to 180mm long and 160mm in diameter. do88 notes that the filter's exposed position means more frequent cleaning, and recommends fitting a water splash guard ahead of it.
