The do88 inlet hose is a wire-reinforced silicone replacement for the factory rubber air intake hose feeding the throttle body on the BMW 325i (E46) with the 2.5L M54B25 engine. Three to five layers of silicone over an integrated steel-wire helix keep the hose from cracking with age or collapsing under intake vacuum, unlike the original rubber part. This is the black finish.
