This is the service filter for the do88 V2 intake system on VAG EA888 engines. It is a large custom cotton gauze element delivered pre-oiled, washable and reusable, and do88 recommends cleaning it every 20,000 km with a cleaner made for cotton filters such as BMC WADET500. The 90 degree plastic vacuum hose connection in the rubber base is available separately as part NB90-6.
