Spark Plugs: Iridium & Racing Heat Ranges

Spark plugs ignite the air and fuel charge, and on a tuned or boosted engine the heat range matters as much as the plug material. More boost and timing raise combustion temperatures, so a colder plug pulls heat away faster and helps prevent pre-ignition, while the right gap keeps the spark from blowing out under load.

We carry HKS Super Fire Racing iridium and ruthenium plugs in heat ranges from NGK 7 to NGK 10, in singles and 10 packs, with fitments for the GR Supra, Civic Type R FK8, VQ35HR, GT-R, 86, BRZ and Genesis Coupe 3.8L. Dinan iridium plugs cover BMW N20, N54, N55, S55, B48, B58 and S58 engines, and APR Iridium Pro plugs cover Audi, VW and Porsche EA888 and related engines. Kooks stainless plug heat sleeves round out the selection.
