APR Iridium Pro Spark Plug - EA825 / EA839 / 9A2, Heat Range 10 - Single

The APR Iridium Pro is a non-projected insulator spark plug built one heat range colder than stock on the 2.9T and 3.0T EA839 and the 9A2 family, and two ranges colder on the 4.0T EA825. The iridium firing tip has a far higher melting point than platinum or copper, so it resists erosion and preignition while asking less supplied voltage from the coil, and the electrode geometry is shaped for hard to ignite fuels such as ethanol. That combination keeps combustion stable on tuned engines running raised boost and cylinder pressure, where a stock heat range plug can run hot.
