This is aFe's Magnum FLOW OE Replacement air filter with Pro DRY S media and a foam pre-filter, a drop-in flat panel for the factory airbox on 2003-2026 Dodge and Ram trucks with the 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins inline-six diesel. Pro DRY S is three layers of oil-free synthetic media: it is washable and reusable, and unlike an oiled cotton-gauze filter it needs no oil at service time, so there is nothing to over-oil onto a mass airflow sensor. It is recharged with aFe's POWER CLEANER and air-dried.

What separates this part number from aFe's other Cummins replacement filters is the pre-filter and the frame. A 1/2 inch open-cell polyurethane foam pre-filter, held by a removable ABS retainer, catches large debris before it reaches the media, which is worth having if the truck works in dust; it washes and reuses the same way the filter does.
