This is an aFe POWER SCORCHER high-performance ignition coil for the 2008-2013 BMW 128i / 2003-2005 BMW 325i, sold individually. It's a direct replacement for the factory coil but runs a lower primary resistance, so it puts out a hotter spark — up to 20% more spark energy — for more complete combustion from idle to redline. That translates to smoother idle, easier cold starts, and spark that keeps up at high RPM and wide-open throttle.
