The Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titanium) for the 976 Panamera uses high grade titanium with an in-house cast valve housing and hand made carbon fiber tail pipes whose acoustic reflectors direct sound toward the cabin. A dedicated control kit tunes the sound across all drive modes: a rich sporty note on V6 models and a deep rumble on V8 models. It is 46% (8.6 kg) lighter than the V8 sport system and 44.5% (8.3 kg) lighter than the V6 system, and on the Turbo S E-Hybrid it added 9.7 hp at 6,450 rpm and 11 Nm at 5,150 rpm. The matching V6 or V8 fitting kit is required and sold separately.
