The AMS Performance Alpha intake kit replaces the factory 2.6 inch filter element with a 4 inch high-flow Alpha dry-media air filter mounted on a CNC machined billet aluminum adapter with an anodized finish, while retaining the stock airbox lid and inlet duct. The dry media needs no filter oil and cleans with compressed air or a biodegradable cleaner. AMS rates the upgrade at 20+ HP with reduced turbo lag, and it installs in about 15 minutes with no cutting, no permanent modifications, and no tune required.
