The AMS Performance CAN bus flex fuel kit lets the engine run gasoline, E85 or any blend from 0 to 100% ethanol. An ethanol content sensor reports to an AMS CAN bus box that talks directly to the ECU, which adjusts fueling, boost and timing to make the most power possible on the fuel in the tank. The box also provides three 0-5V analog inputs for monitoring sensors such as coolant or fuel pressure with programmable failsafes. The kit plumbs in with black nylon coated -6AN braided E85-compatible lines, race-grade AN fittings and aluminum quick-connect fittings, and requires a custom ECU calibration.
