The AMS Performance CAN bus flex fuel kit reads ethanol content from 0 to 100% and sends it over the CAN bus to an EcuTek calibration, so the tune adjusts automatically to anything from pump gasoline to E85 with no manual blend calculations. A plug-and-play harness needs no additional wiring, and the CAN box adds three 0-5V analog inputs for monitoring sensors such as fuel pressure, coolant pressure or exhaust backpressure. Braided hoses with -8AN fittings work with stock or aftermarket -8AN fuel rails, and robust brackets hold the sensor in place for a bolt-in install with no permanent modification. A custom ECU calibration is required, and the kit is not compatible with the Cobb Accessport.
