AMS Performance carbon fiber cold air intake replaces the bulky factory airbox and draws 100% of its air from outside the engine bay through the front grille, feeding a higher volume of cold air to the stock turbocharger. The tubing is hand laid from three layers of 1 mm twill weave prepreg carbon fiber rated to 240°C and resists yellowing and fading. Tube sizing runs from a 3 in inlet to a 3.5 in outlet with a 2.75 in turbo connection, the washable dry media filter needs no oil, and the system supports up to 600 hp. Installation requires no cutting, trimming or grille removal; vehicles with secondary air injection (SAI) need a separate third-party filter kit.
