AMS Performance intercoolers replace the factory intercoolers on the VR30DDTT with a proprietary counter-flow core that runs cooler water against cooler air for better thermal efficiency than a conventional cross-flow design. The core is 70.4% larger than OEM, with 2.5-inch inlet and 2.75-inch outlet air flanges and CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum end tanks in a polished finish. Water ports are up to 33% larger, with 33% larger feed lines and 20% larger return lines than stock, and AMS recorded a 40°F drop in intake air temperature over OEM. Upgraded water lines, couplers, integrated barb fittings and coolant hoses are included.
