The AMS Performance front mount intercooler kit converts the FA24 WRX from its factory top mount to a 26 x 12 x 4 in bar and plate core, hand TIG welded in the USA and pressure tested, with 347% more volume than the OEM TMIC. AMS testing shows charge air temperatures up to 54.4°F lower than stock. The kit includes 3 in mandrel-bent aluminum piping, ID-matched silicone couplers, CNC billet connection flanges, clamps and hardware. The bracket integrates the tow hook mount and the kit relocates the ambient air temperature sensor and washer fluid filler neck; installation requires slight trimming of the engine bay liners, and the kit is not compatible with OEM or most aftermarket intake piping.
