The AMS Performance Red Alpha heat exchanger replaces the factory unit that cools the coolant feeding the air-to-water intercoolers. Its UK-made single-pass motorsport core is 22mm thick, double the 11mm factory core, runs 22 fins per inch and adds 228% more fluid capacity, while CAD-designed CNC billet aluminum end tanks remove the factory coolant flow restrictions to lower intake temperatures. It bolts on with no cutting or drilling in about two to three hours and carries CARB EO D-825-4 for emissions-controlled vehicles.
