The AMS Performance Red Alpha Race heat exchanger replaces the factory unit in the air-to-water intercooler circuit with a 32mm thick UK-made single-pass motorsport core, nearly triple the 11mm factory core, offering 827% more surface area and 548% more coolant capacity than stock. CAD-designed CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum end tanks and a CFD-optimized layout drive higher coolant flow for stable intake temperatures under sustained load. It mounts to the factory bolt holes with an included steel support bracket and requires minor plastic trimming.
