AMS Performance turbo inlet tubes eliminate the factory inlet bottleneck between the intake and the twin turbochargers on the 3.5L EcoBoost, opening the roughly 40mm OEM restriction to more than 65mm for up to 158 percent more cross-sectional area. Pressure drop at the compressor covers falls by 42.4 percent versus OEM, measured as up to 2.6 psi less inlet restriction at around 470 wheel horsepower. Wire-reinforced silicone couplers with alignment notches are included, all OEM fittings are retained, and the tubes work with the OEM and most aftermarket intake boxes. Not compatible with the PowerBoost hybrid or trucks equipped with the 2.0kW Pro Power Onboard system.
