APR upgrades the factory plastic throttle body pipe with a stronger 60mm aluminum pipe. Because metal allows a thinner wall than plastic, the internal diameter grows to maximize airflow into the throttle body. The MAP sensor mounting point is CNC-machined from billet aluminum, all brackets are TIG-welded for a precise fit, and the pipe is coated black. A protruding lip at each end helps prevent hose slippage, and it fits directly to OEM or APR throttle body and intercooler hoses.
