ARP 255-4306 replaces the factory head bolts on the Ford 6.2L Boss V8 with reusable ARP2000 studs nominally rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength. The studs are centerless ground and heat treated before the threads are rolled, and they are installed into the block hand tight. The kit includes 8740 chrome moly 12-point nuts, parallel ground washers and a pack of ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant.

  • Follow the sequence and values on the ARP instruction sheet included with the kit; the values assume ARP Ultra-Torque lubricant.

Do I need anything else to install it?

  • A M12x1.75 thread chaser (ARP 912-0008, sold separately) is recommended to clean the block threads before installing the studs.

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.
  • Standard returns: 8% restocking fee on the item price before tax and shipping. Shipping is not refunded in either direction. All waived if the item is defective or we made the error.
