AWE Tuning Exhaust Conversion Kit Honda Civic Type R FL5 2023-2026 - Touring-to-Track

This kit converts an AWE Touring Edition cat-back that is already fitted to your FL5 Honda Civic Type R into an AWE Track Edition. That is the direction: Touring in, Track out. If your car is running the Track Edition and you want the quieter Touring setup, you need the opposite part, AWE 3815-11287, the Track-to-Touring kit. The two part numbers look almost identical and convert in opposite directions, so confirm which AWE system is on the car before you order.

AWE builds the FL5 exhaust suite in two voices. The Touring Edition is the more refined one, carrying AWE's patented 180 Technology, a resonator design AWE says cancels the problematic exhaust frequencies responsible for cabin drone. The Track Edition drops that resonated section in favour of straight pipes and is the rowdy one. For reference, AWE lists the complete Track Edition system at 36.5 pounds and the Touring Edition at 46 pounds, against 50.5 pounds for the stock system; the difference between the two is the resonated section this kit removes.

Understand what is in the box. This is not a complete exhaust system, and it will not fit a factory exhaust or another brand's system. It is the replacement mid-section only: Track Edition straight pipes that take the place of the 180 Technology resonators in your existing AWE Touring Edition cat-back. Your front pipe and your triple tips stay on the car. The kit is handcrafted from 3-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel, in a clean, non-baffled, straight-through design, and bolts on directly. AWE states that no tune is required and that the system does not tamper with emissions control devices, and covers it under the AWE Lifetime Exhaust Warranty and the AWE No Check Engine Light Guarantee.
