AWE Tuning Exhaust Conversion Kit Honda Civic Type R FL5 2023-2026 - Track-to-Touring

This kit converts an AWE Track Edition cat-back that is already fitted to your FL5 Honda Civic Type R into an AWE Touring Edition. That is the direction: Track in, Touring out. If your car is running the Touring Edition and you want the louder Track setup, you need the opposite part, AWE 3820-11287, the Touring-to-Track kit. The two part numbers look almost identical and convert in opposite directions, so confirm which AWE system is on the car before you order.

AWE builds the FL5 exhaust suite in two voices. The Track Edition is the rowdy one, running straight pipes through the mid-section. The Touring Edition is the more refined one, carrying AWE's patented 180 Technology, a resonator design AWE says cancels the problematic exhaust frequencies responsible for cabin drone, developed for the FL5 both with and without aftermarket catted downpipes. For reference, AWE lists the complete Track Edition system at 36.5 pounds and the Touring Edition at 46 pounds, against 50.5 pounds for the stock system; the difference between the two is the resonated section this kit supplies.

Understand what is in the box. This is not a complete exhaust system, and it will not fit a factory exhaust or another brand's system. It is the replacement mid-section only: the 180 Technology resonated section that takes the place of the straight pipes in your existing AWE Track Edition cat-back. Your front pipe and your triple tips stay on the car. The kit is handcrafted from 3-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel, in a clean, non-baffled, straight-through design, and bolts on directly. AWE states that no tune is required and that the system does not tamper with emissions control devices, and covers it under the AWE Lifetime Exhaust Warranty and the AWE No Check Engine Light Guarantee.
