Bilstein 19-275277 is a B4 OE Replacement rear damper for the 2015-2019 Volkswagen e-Golf. B4 is Bilstein's original-equipment replacement line: the valving is matched to the factory damping curve rather than firmed up, so the car returns to the ride height, ride quality and body control it left the factory with. It is the correct choice when a worn shock needs replacing and the goal is stock behaviour, not a handling change.

This is a twin-tube gas-pressure design with a 12.2 mm eye at the lower mount and a stem at the top, measuring 420 mm collapsed and 625 mm extended. It is a bare damper: no coil spring, no spring seat and no dust boot are supplied, so the existing spring and hardware carry over. It cross-references Volkswagen part numbers 5Q0 513 029 HG and 5Q0 513 029 JP. Bilstein specifies two per vehicle for the rear axle and each unit is sold individually, so order two to replace the axle as a pair. No other parts are required, it is a direct OE replacement. B4 OE Replacement line, valving matched to the factory damping curve, retains stock ride height. Twin-tube gas-pressure damper, black painted body. Collapsed length 420 mm (16.54 in.), extended length 625 mm (24.61 in.). Lower mount 12.2 mm eye, upper mount stem. No coil spring, spring seat or dust boot supplied, reuses the factory spring and hardware. Bilstein Limited Lifetime Warranty; manufactured in Romania.
