The Bilstein B4 is a gas-pressure front shock absorber engineered as a direct OE replacement for the BMW E70 X5 and E71 X6, restoring factory ride comfort, handling, and braking stability. Its twin-tube design holds consistent damping with high power reserves, and it fits the full range from the N52/N62 gas models through the xDrive35d diesel. Designed for the standard (non-electronic / non-EDC) suspension and not recommended for use with lowering springs.
