Bilstein 24-188050 is a B4 OE Replacement rear shock absorber for the R171 SLK, built around a gas pressure monotube with fixed OE calibrated valving. It measures 16.97 in (431.0 mm) collapsed and 20.39 in (518.0 mm) extended, mounts on a 10.4 mm lower eye with a stem at the top, and includes a black straight protective boot. It replaces Mercedes-Benz 171 326 01 00, 171 326 02 00, 171 326 08 00, 171 326 10 00 and 171 326 11 00, and interchanges with Sachs 312 839. Bilstein sells this damper individually and the vehicle takes two.
