The B8 5100 is a 46mm monotube shock built for trucks and SUVs carrying mild lift, valved specifically for this application so the rear axle stays settled loaded or empty. Its velocity sensitive digressive piston firms up against sharp inputs and stays supple over fine road texture, and the monotube layout keeps gas and oil separated so damping does not fade on washboard or a long descent. The zinc plated body resists corrosion and the 14mm shaft works between 12.1mm eye mounts at each end, making this a direct bolt-on replacement.
