The EFR 8474 Super Core is the complete rotating assembly and compressor stage of an EFR 8474 turbo on the B2 frame: an 84mm compressor wheel and a 74mm Gamma-Ti turbine wheel on dual ceramic ball bearings in an aluminum bearing housing, with the compressor cover, compressor recirculation valve (CRV) and boost control solenoid valve (BCSV) assembled. The turbine housing, clamp plate hardware, wastegate and actuator are not included, so it is the part to buy when keeping an existing EFR turbine housing or choosing a housing separately. Aluminum bearing housings require water cooling.

Does the super core include a turbine housing?

  • No. The turbine housing, clamp plate hardware, wastegate and actuator are sold separately.

What is assembled on the compressor side?

  • The compressor cover comes with the compressor recirculation valve and boost control solenoid valve assembled.

What bearing housing does it use?

  • Aluminum (requires water cooling).

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.
  • Standard returns: 8% restocking fee on the item price before tax and shipping. Shipping is not refunded in either direction. All waived if the item is defective or we made the error.
  • Fitment guaranteed: select your vehicle above, or confirm fitment with us in writing before you order. If the part shows as a fit and it is wrong, the return is on us, even after installation. Otherwise, installed or used parts cannot be returned.
