The 09.C893.11 is a Brembo Prime front disc for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class: 295 mm across, 28 mm thick new, ventilated, with a 25.4 mm wear limit. Brembo casts it in high-carbon iron rather than standard grey iron. The higher carbon content raises the alloy’s damping coefficient, so the disc absorbs more of the vibration that becomes brake squeal, and improves heat conduction out of the friction surface. It also uses Pillar Venting Technology — pillars instead of straight radial vanes between the two friction rings — and ships with the fastening screws that locate it on the hub.

Brembo’s UV paint is a water-based, solvent-free coating cured under ultraviolet light and applied to the hat, the outer edges and the vane openings — every surface the pads never sweep. It is what separates a Prime UV painted disc from a plain uncoated one: the uncoated casting begins surface-rusting within days of fitting, while the coated disc keeps a clean hat and clear vanes for its service life. This part number supersedes Brembo’s earlier 09.9362.14 for the same application. One note on fitment: Brembo’s European catalogue additionally lists W221 S-Class applications against this disc, which is doubtful for a 295 mm front rotor; the North American catalogue lists only the E320 and E350, and that is the application set published below.
