The 09.D063.21 is a Brembo Prime front disc for the Jaguar F-Pace and Land Rover Range Rover Velar: 325 mm diameter, 30 mm thick new, ventilated, 28 mm minimum thickness, cast in high-carbon iron. The higher carbon content raises the damping coefficient of the alloy — it soaks up more of the vibration that turns into squeal — and conducts heat out of the braking surface faster than standard grey iron. It uses Pillar Venting Technology, with pillars rather than straight vanes separating the friction rings. Brembo’s UV paint is a water-based, solvent-free coating cured under ultraviolet light and applied to the hat, the outer edges and the vane openings — every surface the pads never sweep. It is what separates a Prime UV painted disc from a plain uncoated one: the uncoated casting begins surface-rusting within days of fitting, while the coated disc keeps a clean hat and clear vanes for its service life.

Brembo also builds 09.D063.11, which is dimensionally identical to this disc — same 325 mm diameter and 30 mm thickness — but is a different application (Jaguar XE and XF) built to a different OE reference.
