Brembo Prime Rear Brake Disc 310x22mm Vented Audi TT / TTS / TT RS - UV Coated

The 09.9768.11 is the rear brake disc from Brembo’s Prime line for the Audi TT platform: a 310 mm ventilated grey-iron rotor, 22 mm thick new, with a 20 mm minimum-thickness wear limit and a 58 mm hat height. It is a one-piece casting — iron ring and iron hat — finished in Brembo’s UV paint, and it is the plain-faced Prime disc rather than a drilled Xtra or a bi-material Composite or Dual Cast part.

Brembo’s UV paint is a water-based, solvent-free coating cured under ultraviolet light and applied to the hat, the outer edges and the vane openings — every surface the pads never sweep. It is what separates a Prime UV painted disc from a plain uncoated one: the uncoated casting begins surface-rusting within days of fitting, while the coated disc keeps a clean hat and clear vanes for its service life. This disc is cast with Brembo’s Pillar Venting Technology: the two friction rings are separated by an array of pillars rather than straight radial vanes, which raises the internal surface area available to shed heat and spreads thermal load more evenly through the casting. It ships with the fastening screws that locate it on the hub. Brembo also supplies this same rotor inside kit KT04360, paired there with a Prime low-metallic rear pad set.
