The 09.B461.1X is a Brembo Xtra front disc: 319 mm across, 28 mm thick new, ventilated, cross-drilled through both friction faces and finished in UV paint. Xtra is Brembo’s sporting road line, and the drilling is the whole point of it. The holes give the gas and pad dust generated in the first moments of a stop somewhere to go instead of building a film between pad and disc, which sharpens initial bite, and they add edge area that helps the pair shed heat. This is the same fitment as Brembo’s plain Prime disc for these trucks — a different face, not a different application.

One correction worth publishing openly: Brembo’s own catalogue page for 09.B461.1X states five bolt holes. That is a data error. The sibling part 09.B461.11 is published as six, every vehicle in the list below runs a six-lug front hub, and Brembo’s own product photography of this disc shows six. We publish six. Minimum thickness is 26.5 mm; discard the disc at or below that figure rather than machining it back.
