Brembo Xtra Cross-Drilled Rear Brake Disc 345x18mm Toyota Tundra Sequoia - High Carbon

The 09.D618.1X is the rear disc from Brembo’s Xtra line for Toyota’s full-size trucks and SUVs: 345 mm diameter, 18 mm thick new, ventilated, cross-drilled through both friction faces, cast in high-carbon iron and finished in UV paint. The drilling vents the gas and dust that would otherwise glaze the pad interface in the first moments of a stop, which sharpens initial bite and adds edge area for cooling. The high-carbon alloy has a higher damping coefficient than standard grey iron, so it absorbs more of the vibration that becomes squeal and moves heat out of the braking surface faster.

This is the sporting alternative to 09.D618.11, not a different size. Both discs are 345 mm x 18 mm with a 76 mm hat height, a 112 mm centering bore and 5 bolt holes, and both cover the same vehicles. The differences are real but narrow: 09.D618.11 is Prime, plain-faced and UV painted with a 16.0 mm minimum thickness; this part is Xtra, cross-drilled and high-carbon with a 16.5 mm minimum thickness, so it has 0.5 mm less usable wear. It supersedes Brembo 09.A967.1X, and the whole Brembo Xtra disc range carries UNECE R90 homologation.
