Clutch Masters Flywheel Friction Lock - Honda & Acura (Civic, Integra, RSX)

The Clutch Masters Flywheel Friction Lock (FFL) is a friction shim that installs between the flywheel and crankshaft to keep the flywheel from working loose under high torque and damaging the crank. Built with 3M friction shim technology, it uses a nickel-coated steel substrate with partially embedded diamond particles that bite into both mating surfaces. At an installed thickness of .006"-.009" it does not meaningfully change assembly spacing, is reusable after disassembly, and lets the joint reliably handle up to 5x higher shear force and transmit up to 5x higher torque than a standard flywheel-to-crank interface. This FFL fits a wide range of Honda and Acura applications across the Civic, Accord, Integra, Prelude, S2000, RSX, TSX, TL, CL, ILX and NSX.
