DEI Quick Fix is a self-adhering silicone repair tape that bonds only to itself and self-cures into a waterproof, permanent, adhesive-free seal that leaves no sticky residue when removed. Extruded from a high performance silicone compound rated at 700 psi tensile strength, it stretches to three times its length for a simple stretch and wrap application and provides electrical insulation up to 8,000 volts. A triangular profile, thicker in the center than at the edges, feathers to a smooth edge when overlapped. The tape withstands temperatures from -65F (-54C) to 500F (260C) and resists solvents, oils, fuel, acids, and chemical spills, making it suited to emergency hose repair, wire bundling, weatherproofing connections, and non-slip tool grips.
