DEI Under Carpet Lite is a 1/2 in thick multi-layer polyester and fiberglass composite that keeps engine, exhaust and road heat from soaking into the cabin while absorbing noise, rattles and squeaks. It insulates up to 85% of unwanted heat, weighs about 0.23 lb per square foot, and is flexible enough for floor pans, firewalls, transmission tunnels, door panels, rear decks and headliners. Fasten it mechanically or with DEI Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive (10492), alone or over Boom Mat vibration damping material.
