The DFC 4000 HybriDynamic pad uses a hybrid friction formulation that holds a stable coefficient across a wide temperature range, so pedal feel stays consistent from the first cold stop of the morning through a long descent. The compound is 100% asbestos free and copper free, and it is deliberately rotor friendly, trading a little initial bite for longer pad and rotor life. Dust and noise are both kept low, which is what makes this a daily driving pad rather than a track compound. This is the front axle set and it ships with the matching hardware kit.
