This DFC Hi-Temp sensor wire is the brake pad wear sensor that triggers the dashboard pad warning once the friction material reaches its service limit. It is engineered from high temperature resistant materials rated to 500°F, and highly conductive electrodes read pad wear level accurately. Form, fit, and function match the OEM sensor, so it connects to the factory harness and mounts with no modification, and each unit is quality tested and supplied new in the box.
