The Dinan Cold Air Intake for the B58-powered G2x M240i, M340i and M440i reworks the entire lower box, not just the lid, to house a custom free-flowing filter 40% larger than stock at 115 square inches. A patterned secondary inlet on the side opposite the engine adds volume without raising intake temperatures, and the carbon fiber system outflows the stock intake by 58% while adding up to 9 WHP and 8 lb-ft at 6500 RPM. Unlike the earlier version it is compatible with every G2x Mx40i whether or not the car has factory strut bracing.
