The Dinan carbon fiber cold air intake feeds the twin-turbo N63 V8 in the M550i and M850i more cold air with less restriction, delivering top end gains of up to 17 WHP and 18 lb-ft of torque at 5500 RPM with no other modifications. It retains the factory lower boxes for simple installation while enlarging the air box lids, increasing volume by 54% and making room for bespoke high-flow cone filters with 22% more surface area than the factory panels (102.1 sq in vs 76.3 sq in). An organically shaped intake pipe smooths the path into each turbo, and the sealed 2x2 gloss carbon weave construction ensures only cooler outside air is drawn in while adding a premium underhood look.
