The factory B46 turbo inlet is a plastic part with built-in sound resonators that introduce flow restriction and turbulence, and it is a known failure point. Dinan replaces it with a carbon fiber pipe on CNC machined fittings that drops straight into the OEM location. Deleting the resonators and reshaping the path yields an average 12.5% larger internal diameter throughout, the maximum cross-sectional area the engine bay allows, and 24% more internal volume than stock, so the turbo draws air more freely and works less for the same boost. Removing the resonator also lets more of the turbo induction sound reach the cabin.

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.
  • Standard returns: 8% restocking fee on the item price before tax and shipping. Shipping is not refunded in either direction. All waived if the item is defective or we made the error.
  • Fitment guaranteed: select your vehicle above, or confirm fitment with us in writing before you order. If the part shows as a fit and it is wrong, the return is on us, even after installation. Otherwise, installed or used parts cannot be returned.
