The Dinan High Flow Carbon Fiber Intake increases airflow to the S65 V8 in the 2008-2013 BMW M3. Its prepreg carbon fiber connecting pipe and integrated divider plate offer 30% more cross-sectional area than stock, feeding an enlarged multi-layer cotton gauze filter. An injection molded divider plate with an integral high flow passage engages the factory airbox housing to seal the intake tract from underhood heat, and the low mass carbon fiber and plastic construction cools faster than aluminum to reduce heat soak. Dinan rates the system at +8 HP and +5 lb-ft at 8200 RPM.
