Dinan winds these springs from high tensile chrome silicon wire on CNC equipment and shot peens them for stress relief, then presets them at the factory so they hold their height rather than sagging after the first few thousand miles. Rates climb 71% at the front and 38% at the rear on the 2.0T car, and 25% at both ends on the 3.0T, which is what cuts body roll and takes the squat out of hard acceleration and the dive out of hard braking. Ride height drops 1.1 in front and 0.5 in rear on the 2.0T, or 1.0 in front and 0.7 in rear on the 3.0T, closing the arch gap and improving suspension geometry at the same time. Reduced roll also makes the steering answer more directly, from parking speeds all the way up. Four linear rate springs are in the box, two front and two rear.
