The Dinan cold air intake uses a high-heat-deflection PEX housing with an OEM-style look, enlarging the lower air box 60% and fitting a custom free-flowing filter that grows filter area 40% from 82 to 115 square inches. Patterned secondary openings on the side opposite the engine add intake volume without raising turbo inlet temperatures, and the system outflows the factory intake by 58% or more. On a stock vehicle Dinan measures peak gains of 9 wheel horsepower and 8 lb-ft, with a louder, sportier induction note and improved throttle response.
