This BigPack replaces the whole charge air path between the turbo outlet and the throttle body on air conditioned 940 and 960 turbo cars. The all aluminium intercooler uses CAD designed, flow optimised cast end tanks and holds 13,945 cm³ against the OEM 8,465 cm³, a 65 percent increase. do88 measured 313 CFM at 0.15 bar (2.18 psi) pressure drop where the OEM parts flow 258 CFM, 21 percent higher, and recorded 28°C post intercooler air temperature against 49°C on the original setup. Both pressure pipes are mandrel bent 2.5 in aluminium and the four silicone hoses carry four layers of polyester and aramid reinforcement.
