This do88 BigPack replaces the whole charge air path from the turbocharger outlet to the throttle body on the N55 with an all aluminum performance intercooler, an upgraded turbo outlet hose and a 3 inch (76 mm) charge pipe kit. Core volume reaches 15517 cm3 against 6933 cm3 stock, 124 percent more, with 1151 cm2 of frontal cooling area against 658 cm2. do88 recorded 498 CFM at 0.15 bar (2.18 psi) pressure drop against 354 CFM for the OE parts, a 15°C lower post intercooler air temperature and a 13 hp peak gain on a Stage 1 tuned 335xi. The turbo outlet hose uses a CNC machined adapter with silicone reinforced by four layers of high temperature aramid fabric, and the charge pipe carries two 1/8-27 NPT water/methanol injection connections with blanking plugs fitted.
